Under the terms of the agreement, Bri-Bet becomes an authorized Comm-Port representative for Comm-Port’s innovative suite of security solutions, which are specifically geared towards combating explosive threats to buildings and structures during vehicle access control inspections. Comm-Port’s coveted Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS) leads this exciting suite.
The UVSS solution is designed to scan, monitor, and digitally record crisp, clear digital video images of the entire width of a vehicle’s underside and can be completed with one permanent or portable system. The UVSS is compact and light enough to be set up wherever complete vehicle monitoring is required and provides an ideal solution for government, corporate, military, and transportation facilities. Because of Comm-Port’s careful integration of components, the UVSS makes for a cost-effective and convenient solution for checking passenger vehicles, vans, buses, semi tractors, trucks and trailers, and more.
Bri-Bet is also excited to offer Comm-Port’s complete line of barrier systems, whose purpose is to prevent unrestricted vehicle access and thwart any attempt to use a vehicle to breach the perimeter security. In their closed position, these barriers block the roadway, enabling security personnel to examine the vehicle and passengers before granting access. In their open position the barriers allow vehicles to pass through unrestricted; however, these barriers differ from conventional access restriction gates (such as used in parking garages) in that they will stop and destroy most any vehicle that attempts to breach the barrier, including an explosive-laden truck traveling at high speed.
Bri-Bet further looks forward to offering Comm Port’s complete line of explosives detection products. Each of Comm-Port’s three explosives detection models stand at the forefront of the explosives detection solutions and are ideal for screening guests, vehicles and packages, and assist with canine detection and command & control center operations.
