Snow Ranch, a unique new development in Auburn, broke ground on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. This will be the first of fourteen (14) homes planned for the subdivision.
“I’m very excited to get this project going. So far, we have had a lot of interest, but people were waiting to see when we were going to start building. Now that construction for the first home has commenced, I expect to see more serious interest from prospective buyers,” stated Scott Pringle, Project Developer of Snow Ranch.
This subdivision is distinctive in many ways, as homes will offer views of Downtown Sacramento and/or the Sutter Buttes; all lots are over an acre, and are walking distance to downtown Auburn. “You won’t find this combination of benefits anywhere else in Auburn,” said Pringle. Prospective buyers have the choice of four (4) different one story ranch style floor plans, ranging from 2,700 to 2,860 square feet. All homes will have tank-less water heaters, double-paned windows, and innovative insulation to cut down on energy costs.
Project financing is being provided by Community Business Bank. In working through the loan process, Pringle worked directly with Karen Battles, VP / Construction Loan Portfolio Manager at the Bank. “Karen has been wonderful; she was thorough, consistent, and got a construction loan for this project when no one else could,” said Pringle.
“I am very excited to be working on such a high quality project. Snow Ranch offers impressive views, a great location, and beautiful open floor plans. It has been years since I have seen such a high quality project in this price range,” stated Battles.
Pringle has been in the development business for the past twenty years. “Scott is an extremely experienced developer, I am so glad our bank could help him with this project,” said Battles. According to Pringle, the development has a target completion date of February 2010.
