Attendees will include 2,000 active-duty Army, Reserve, Guard and civilian members of the worldwide chief information officer (CIO) community and senior military and civilian knowledge management policy makers. This year AVI-SPL will also co-sponsor, with GTSI, a LandWarNet Reception, which will take place the evening of August 18.
During the conference, AVI-SPL will display its proprietary product Battle Command Information Systems (BCIS™), a rugged, mobile communications system for field operations. The BCIS™ is a commercial off-the-shelf system designed for display of critical information needed by decision makers. In less than one hour, two individuals can have the system assembled and operational.
