Windermere Capital is pleased to announce that Mr. Kevin McArthur has joined the Strategic Advisory Committee of the Breakaway Strategic Resource Fund (the “Fund”). As a strategic advisor to the Fund, Mr. McArthur will counsel the investment committee on matters related to potential investments, strategic initiatives and monitoring of portfolio companies.

Mr. McArthur served as President and CEO of Goldcorp from November 2006 until December 31, 2008 and will continue through 2009 as an Advisor to the new CEO. Mr. McArthur was previously President and CEO of Glamis Gold from 1999 until its merger with Goldcorp in November 2006. Mr. McArthur joined Glamis in 1988 where he served in a variety of management positions. Prior to joining Glamis, Mr. McArthur was with BP Minerals North America and Homestake Mining Company. Mr. McArthur holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada.
