Jotta.com, an online and offline creative community, has been named third most influential established business in the Arts and Design category of the Hospital Club 100, list in association with The Independent.
The creative community, Jotta.com, came third in the annual Hospital 100 poll, which was voted on by members of the private Hospital Club, an online network for media and creatives across the UK. The Hospital Club 100, in its second year, lists the most important movers and shakers in the media and creative industries.
Jotta.com, is an online and offline community for practising artists who are either making a full time living or part time living from art or who want to have their artwork exhibited. The community has more than 22,000 pieces of work uploaded from over 5,000 users across 70 countries and has been founded in partnership with Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design and the University of the Arts, London. The community allows practising artists to take their next steps in their art career in a variety of disciplines including: Fine Art, Photography, Sculpture, Animation, Fashion, Design, Illustration and Media. Jotta.com lets creative people and artists create profiles and portfolios, manage, display, develop and commercially exploit their work, and network and collaborate with other creative.
The organisers of the Hospital Top 100 say the rankings are based on ‘genuine current contribution and importance, not just the size of someone’s celebrity status, profile, bank balance, titles or past reputation’.
