ENLIGN Business Brokers has acted as the business intermediary in the sale of Wylie’s Golf Carts on 15-501 in Pinehurst, NC. Michael Fekkes of ENLIGN representing the seller, Jan Wylie, assisted in all aspects of this transaction which included providing a brokers opinion of most probable selling price, developing a targeted marketing plan, pre-qualification of potential buyers, terms negotiation and assisting the buyers and sellers attorneys in preparing the closing documents.
Once packaged for sale, the business was marketed through a proprietary ENLIGN methodology. Wylie’s Golf Cart’s was established over 15 years ago and was founded, owned and operated by Jan Wylie. The business, a dealership of the E-Z-GO Brand of Golf Carts, sells, rents and services both new and used golf carts in the greater Pinehurst area of North Carolina, an area often referred to as the “Golf Capital of the World”.
Joe Aceto, Jr is the new owner/operator of the business and will be making a variety of enhancements to the business including a facility up-fit, an introduction of a company website, a more comfortable showroom and an extensive inventory of golf carts, parts, and accessories. When asked about the transaction Joe replied “I enjoyed working with [Mr. Fekkes] on the purchase of my business. It was a real pleasure working with a professional.”
