London, United Kingdom, 2009/06/25 - Online game gurus, Matmi, are celebrating the success of their first iPhone game, Monster Pinball, which Apple selected as its App Store “Pick of the Week” only 3 weeks after release on 1st June 2009.

Monster Pinball's strong sales gained listings in the top 100 Game and App charts within 10 days of release, then the game entered the Staff Picks chart on 11th June 2009 followed by Apple's selection as its App Store “Pick of the Week” a week later.
Jeff Coghlan, MD & founder at Matmi, is overwhelmed by the take-up for the game. “Our background is on online games and branded entertainment, so we’re used to creating games that have high appeal to get the maximum number of plays. Online games are free to play, so the Monster Pinball experience has been amazing because thousands of people are actually paying to play one of our game creations. Further Matmi-branded iPhone game releases are already underway and Matmi is in discussion with a number of its clients on branded entertainment releases for the iPhone. Console games may also feature in future releases.
