Liza Minnelli, daughter of screen legend Judy Garland, rose to fame for both her singing and acting abilities. With her first acting experience coming at three years old, Liza has been performing for sixty years. Over the course of her career she has an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Cabaret. She has also won two Tony Awards, an Emmy Award and a special Grammy Award for lifetime achievement, along with many other honors and awards. Musically, Minnelli is best known for the song New York, New York. This song, later covered by Frank Sinatra, has been her signature song since 1977.
