Epps grew to fame in the mid 90s through his appearances on the Def Comedy Jam. He starred in two of HBO's Def Comedy Jam broadcasts and became one of the biggest names in stand-up comedy. He transitioned his stand-up to the big screen, breaking into the movie scene starring in film Next Friday.
Following Next Friday, Epps starred in films such as Bait, How High, The Fighting Temptations and Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. He stars in the movie Next Day Air, which is in theaters now and will be appearing in the film Janky Productions later this year.
