The vascular application is based on guidelines from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Labs (ICAVL) and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).
The EncaptureMD platform enables physicians to produce high-quality medical reports quickly and easily without the need for dictation. These standards-compliant reports are then easily and securely accessible from any computer with Internet access. EncaptureMD was developed to simplify medical reporting and free doctors from focusing on paperwork so they can spend more time with patients.
Current applications for EncaptureMD include echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac catheterization. “With the release of our Vascular Reporting application, EncaptureMD now provides a diverse array of reporting applications for the cardiovascular community,” says Dr. Craig Scott, President, Flexible Informatics. The application contains study reports for Carotid Duplex, Renal Duplex, Aorto-Iliac Duplex, Mesenteric Duplex, Transcranial Doppler, Upper and Lower Arterial, Upper and Lower Venous Duplex and Vein Mapping.
The Vascular Reporting application, as with the current EncaptureMD applications, is fully configurable and designed to meet the needs of small physician practices or large hospital systems. Physicians may configure the system to meet their unique needs by adding, changing or modifying the input screens, text rules or report structures from the base applications. Not only does it streamline workflow and improve efficiency, but it also provides a robust set of calculations and important intelligent rules-based error checking to ensure that reports are as accurate as possible, reducing medical and billing errors.
