The new Hyperlite Hyperbaric Stretcher and Treatment System is innovative, quick deployment, first aid medical equipment. The product uses modern high performance braided fibre materials to its best advantage.
Like other modern hyperbaric chambers, the Hyperlite is pressurised with air and provides 100% oxygen through a mask or hood thus providing high doses of the gas most necessary for improving oxygen concentrations throughout the body.
Due to its size and portability, it is ideal for use in remote diving locations, close to the front lines in war zones, disaster areas or at any emergency location wherever that may be. It is designed for use as a transfer under pressure device whether by aircraft, helicopter, boat, ambulance or road vehicle, whatever is available in order to bring the casualty to a medical environment.
The overriding advantage of the Hyperlite is its lightness, foldability and versatility, a very significant benefit where remoteness, inclement conditions and/or other dangers may be present at the accident site.
In view of its high pressure capability, it is suitable for treating the vast majority of pressure related illnesses experienced by divers and submariners, pilots and astronauts, mountaineers and tunnelers, fire fighters and others with traumatic injuries. It is also used for the other approved hyperbaric oxygen therapies.
For fire fighters, Hyperlites are very effective in treating smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning, where immediate treatment is necessary. Fire retardant materials are used in its manufacture throughout and it is non-magnetic, unaffected by U-V radiation and X-rays may be taken directly through the unit.
The high performance materials provide high strength with exceptional flexibility, producing a tube that has been tested to withstand six times its working pressure and yet be stored in a box that is just one quarter of it operational length.
Hyperlite (hyperlite.co.uk) is built to the ISO 13485 Quality Standard, and is the ONLY non-metallic or folding pressure vessel that complies with the US National Standard ASME PVHO-1 (Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy).
