The ICANL provides a peer review mechanism to encourage and recognize the provision of quality nuclear cardiology and nuclear medicine diagnostic evaluations by a process of voluntary accreditation. The ICANL is dedicated to ensuring high quality patient care and to promoting health care. Nuclear cardiology evaluates the heart at rest and during exercise using a small amount of radioisotope during the non-invasive procedure. It relies on the experience and training of both the physician and technologist.
Located on Winchester at Champion Hills Drive near the Collierville line in Memphis, with a smaller office on Sanderlin Street in east Memphis, Southwind Medical Specialists (southwindmd.com) is the home of nine physicians and two nurse practitioners.
