Hollywood, CA, United States, 2009/04/01 - Celebrities were dressed and families were fed as Hollywood gathered for the Celebrity Gift Lounge to celebrate the 2009 Kids' Choice Awards. The highlight of the event was the showcase put on by Capelta, which displayed its collection of boots.

The star-studded two day event was held at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, and the event’s distinctive orange carpet was graced by the likes of Jewel, Wayne Brady, Vanessa Williams, Kathy Hilton, and Brian McKnight.
The highlight of the event was the showcase put on by Capelta, which displayed its magnificent collection of boots. The showcase was annexed by gentle piano melodies put on by Grammy winner Charles Segal, who provided entertainment for the event.
The item considered to be the event’s biggest hit was the Billie Jean boot by Capelta, which is a light throwback boot comprised of denim and leather, and is perfect for summer.
Other styles were also popular as a variety of boot styles were sought, further proving that Capelta does indeed have a boot that fits every personality.
Kathy Hilton, mother of Paris and Nicky, took home a pair of the Sahara Breeze, which is handcrafted from suede and accented with fur along with a delicate leather fringe. "This line is really onto something, and the diversity of styles on display is quite exceptional,” Hilton said.
Inevitably the topic of Paris Hilton came up, and Kathy happily offered an opinion on behalf of her fashionista daughter. "I can't tell you which pair Paris would pick because I'm sure if she were here she would want them all,” Hilton exclaimed.
Aimee Teegarden, who stars on Friday Night Lights and 90210, went with a more classic look in the Alma Breu by Capelta. It is a black leather cowboy boot with a hand-stroked toe cast of metallic gold, and its rim is lined with gold studs.
The event was sponsored by Stouffer’s, which pledged to give 70,000 meals to the needy.
