The ibidi product family comprises a variety of different shapes of ì-Slides, ì-Dishes and plates which all have been designed for high-end microscopic analysis of fixed or living cells. The high optical quality of the material is similar to that of glass, so you can perform all kinds of fluorescence experiments with uncompromised resolution and choice of wavelength.
Ibidi’s new wounding inserts are ideal for cell migration or cell invasion studies. They are more effective than the traditional scrape method because they leave a well-defined cell free gap. The inserts can be inserted into any bio-compatible surface and used to culture one or multiple cell lines. These inserts have two wells that create 2 distinct cell patches with a defined gap of 400µm. The small capacity (70ul) requires only a small number of cells and when the insert is removed it leaves NO RESIDUE and the protein layer stays intact.
Ibidi’s new Angiogenesis slides are an advanced slide for producing 3D gel matrices that provide a flat surface for improved visual focus, while minimizing the use of expensive reagents. The Angiogenesis slide has a “well within a well” design perfect for angiogenesis studies. Each slide has 15 wells with 50µl capacity with smaller 10µl capacity wells inside. The small inside well allows matrigel to set without meniscus formation.
Ibidi’s new HIGH capacity dishes now have a 2mL capacity, double the capacity of the LOW dishes. Ibidi µdishes have a special locking feature for long term studies with no evaporation. They are available with a grid or culture insert option.
Applied BioPhysics, Inc. (biophysics.com), manufacturer of the analytical instrument ECIS (Electric Cell substrate Impedance Sensing), is an official distributor of IBIDI Products.
