Master Bond EP46HT-1 is a high temperature adhesive designed to withstand extreme conditions and harsh environments found in oil and gas production operations. The adhesive is successfully applied in oil rigs, drilling equipment, heat exchangers and associated processing equipment due to its superior temperature and chemical durability.
This two-part epoxy cures rapidly at elevated temperatures and produces bonds, seals, and castings with high physical strength and excellent resistance to crude oils and its derivatives, natural gas and gaseous fuels. It also offers outstanding resistance to gasoline, kerosene, alcohols, and other fuels and lubricants. Master Bond EP46HT-1 exhibits an impressive service temperature range of -100°F to +550°F and is not sensitive to thermal cycling. As a heavy duty adhesive, it adheres well to glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubber and plastics. Metal bonding of steel, aluminum alloys and copper is excellent.
