The “Collections Auction” will open for bidding on Sunday, March 15, on AntiquesYes.com, and will begin closing the following Sunday evening, March 22nd, beginning at 8 pm EDT.
The different collections include high grade doorknobs and other builders’ hardware, Addison glass tiles, vintage French cookware, weaving artifacts, and even a collection of rare grain painting brushes.
For antique hardware enthusiasts there is a collection of quality doorknobs that includes an unusual lion, a nice Kelp passage knob, a rare St. Louis Board of Education, and many other desirable figural and emblematic pieces. Other collections feature antique hardware advertising and logo items, doorbells, original Corbin casting models, and silver plated hardware.
Additional hardware collections include quality groupings from famous names such as Russell & Erwin, Mallory Wheeler, and Hopkins & Dickenson, plus 14 different styles from the Gilbert Lock Company.
