Kognitio®, a leading global provider of business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement with self-service hosting provider, AppNexus.
The announcement was made today at The Data Warehousing Institute’s World Conference, where Kognitio is a participating vendor.
AppNexus now offers end-users the power of Kognitio’s WX2 analytical database via Data Warehousing as a Service (DaaS™) running on demand in the AppNexus cloud. The AppNexus DaaS service allows their customers to provision their own instances of the WX2 database, and immediately upload, manage and analyze their data in a lights-out environment. As a result, organizations now have the opportunity to develop and test their analytical database environments quickly, easily and on a utility basis, without needing to commit to large upfront costs or waiting for hardware and software to arrive at a specified site.
The AppNexus DaaS offering also protects customers' existing investments in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, reporting systems, data mining software and other analytical environments by enabling those tools to operate within the cloud-based environment without modification.
