Aurora Biomed, Inc., a leading developer of solutions for life science, analytical and drug discovery research, is adding a new series of laboratory water purification systems to complement its existing line of high precision instruments. The Crysta Series is a high quality water purification system that will produce better technical results for even the most demanding scientific applications.
The Crysta 500, 1000, and 2000 systems serve three different areas of scientific applications. These applications range from general pure water use in buffer preparation and high purity glassware rinsing to critical use in high performance liquid chromatography and polymerase chain reactions. Aurora’s Crysta Series produces highly purified lab water that meets ASTM and CLSI clinical laboratory standards. All three models use unique networks of filtration systems developed to produce the highest quality Type 1 and Type 2 pure water. The Crysta 500 uses a 6 step filtration system to purify tap water into reverse osmosis water and then into even purer Type 2 deionized water. The Crysta 1000 system produces Type 1 ultrapure analytical water using Ultrapure Polishing Cartridges. The Crysta 2000 system uses advanced 5000 Doulton Ultrafilters and Double Wavelength Ultraviolet Lamps to produce the purest Type 1 water for use in critical PCR and HPLC applications.
The Crysta Series uses unique filtration networks to consistently deliver high quality pure lab water for better technical results. With special features such as walk-away unattended operation, real time display of purity levels, and innovative cartridge monitoring systems, the Crysta Series is a dependable, high quality and high performance laboratory water purification system that will meet and surpass the demands of any pure water needs.
