Affordable worker safety training is in high demand. According to Google Insights, OSHA Construction Training searches are up 40% over the last 12 months. The American Safety Council, partnered with the University of South Florida’s OSHA Training Institute, is now offering approved online 30-hour Outreach training for the Construction Industry. Graduation from this online course provides students with an official OSHA 30-hour course completion card.
Unlike the classroom, this online OSHA course (Usfosha.com) allows workers to train while eliminating the costs of travel and time away from work. Distance delivery can also accommodate the international need for safety training. Class size, location and availability are no longer a factor. If you have a computer and the internet, you can be on your way to OSHA certification.
The American Safety Council (ASC) designed and released the first authorized online OSHA 510 and 511 courses in January of 2008. Each course incorporates full audio narration, as well as interactive exercises and case studies to help students better understand OSHA regulations and hazard recognition. Registration and course descriptions can be found online.
ASC (americansafetycouncil.com) also provides multiple services and support to their online products, such as biometric personal identification, internet security, testing services and customer support. The American Safety Council first entered the e-learning network by offering traffic safety courses, as well as driver education and notary services completely online.
