Defining Designs by cms brings beauty and inspiration into the home, garden or office. As a web designer, Brenda Halverson found herself being inspired by mosaic art and the vision that could be conveyed simply by re-cycling materials and bringing them back to life. “The way someone decorates, the colors they use, the style, etc. all define who we are and what makes us so different”.

The materials used in her pieces are vast and include, but are not limited to, vitreous glass, smalti, stained glass, beads, gems, rocks, ceramics, mirror, shells, jewelry, tile, paper, metal, etc. She can custom design anything from a table, wall art, vases, frames, mirrors, trivets, backsplash, coasters, a lazy susan, candleholders, raised dog feeder, birdbath, birdhouse, garden sphere, flower pots, address sign, dog leash holder, plates, wine stoppers, etc. Anything can have a mosaic designed on it so the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

She will be present at a special artist opening featuring her work on February 20, 2009 at the Gallery Mio from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
