Lombardi®, a leader in business process management (BPM) software, today announced that the El Araby Group, a leading manufacturer in the Middle East, is deploying its award-winning Teamworks® BPM software suite to support the company’s human resources processes.

El Araby Group, based in Egypt, is a major trading and manufacturing company. It manufactures and assembles air conditioners, televisions, and other home appliances for well-known Japanese brands such as TOSHIBA and SHARP. Valleysoft, Lombardi’s reseller and delivery partner in The Middle East, provided the Teamworks BPM software, professional services and training for El Araby Group’s new HR process solution.

El Araby Group is deploying Lombardi Teamworks to help automate and manage their employee on- and off-boarding activities. This project is significant because it is the first Teamworks implementation with a non-Latin language (e.g., Arabic). In addition to managing the El Araby Group project, the Valleysoft team also handled the translation of Teamworks’ “coaches,” or end-user screens, into Arabic.
With these new processes, El Araby Group expects to save significant time and money by automating routine tasks, eliminating redundant work and optimizing personnel usage. Process scoreboards and performance measurements enable the company’s HR staff to gain visibility into employee hiring and other metrics. In the future, El Araby Group plans to integrate Teamworks with its SAP ERP system so that it can begin to incorporate its core wholesale manufacturing business processes with BPM.
