Shermco Industries employee, Jeff Halterman recently received the Turner Construction Outstanding Performance Award. The award recognizes Halterman’s personal efforts in meeting the demanding schedule of the Microsoft/San Antonio project.
Turner Construction, the nation’s leading general building and management company, gives annual awards to distinguish individuals who provide superior results in the industry. Halterman was chosen for his ability to facilitate cable splicing/terminations and testing activities in, out, around and through seven major contractor activities and trade stacking events in a 500,000 square-foot facility.
“It is an honor to have a member of our team recognized for outstanding service,” said Kevin Ewing, manager of Shermco’s Austin service center. “Jeff’s assistance was invaluable to us in moving all equipment and materials to the many lockup areas, testing areas and office spaces.”
To date, four Shermco employees have been recognized by Turner Construction. Other award winners include Patrick Stelzer and Eric A. Rejcek for first prize of the Personal Safety Award as well as Bo Petru, third prize recipient of the Personal Safety Award.
