Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 2009/01/12 - The in-house film & television department of Australian brand experience agency ABT – ABT Screen - has produced three new television commercials for expanding retail corporate, Direct Factory Outlets (DFO) - ABT.com.au.

The three ads – creatively conceived by Frontier Advertising – feature popular media personality Livinia Nixon in a variety of shopping-centric scenarios. ABT Screen produced 3x30second ads, each with 15-second cut-down versions in both vision and voiceover formats. The ads will run in capital cities and sub-regions – Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney - along Australia’s eastern seaboard.
Frontier Advertising – which has offices in Melbourne and Brisbane and whose management team features Aussie footy celebrity Brian ‘BT’ Taylor – created three different storylines for the TV ads: ‘In Love’ shows Livinia likening the experience of shopping at DFO to love at first sight; ‘Airport’, where she insists she travels light, except when visiting DFO; and ‘Fashion’, where Livinia asserts shopping at DFO is for people who value something more real and tangible than just fashion.
James Horton, Executive Producer, ABT Screen commented: “We’re delighted to have won this TVC production business in a competitive pitch situation. The campaign had great concepts, great talent and again ABT added excellent production qualities to the finished executions. Who says that two agencies can’t work together?”
The DFO campaign devised by Frontier Advertising screens on TV from January 2009
