One year ago, Beckett Grading Services (BGS) and James Spence Authentication (JSA) combined forces and began offering customers an extremely successful, joint autograph authentication and card grading service for sports collectibles.
One year later, the industry’s leading grading and authentication giants are coming together again – this time, to demystify the art of grading and authentication.
On January 31st, BGS and JSA will be hosting their first annual Card Grading and Autograph Authentication event. This event will include a series of free seminars benefiting collectors who want to know about what makes cards valuable and the techniques of modern card grading, vintage card grading, autograph grading and autograph authentication.
The Beckett RoadShow crew will also be on site to give collectors a complimentary review and informal valuation of their sports cards and memorabilia. Collectors will receive a Certificate of Review for their item plus guidance on how to best preserve, protect and sell their items.
With the seminars and memorabilia reviews, attendees can also bring their sports collectibles to the event for in-person submissions as well as while-you-wait grading, authentication, and encapsulation services.
This will be hosted at the Beckett Media headquarters in Dallas, TX January 31, 2009 - 9am – 3pm
Beckett Media Corporate Office
4635 McEwen Drive, Dallas, TX 75244
The event is open to the public and free to attend. Please RSVP by Jan 28th, 2009.
