AccuRev Inc. today announced an online Webinar that will highlight the successful hierarchical parallel development methodology used by Ascade AB, one of Europe’s fastest growing telecom software companies according to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking.
Tomas Lundström, Ascade Configuration Manager, will describe his methodology for tackling the challenges of branching and merging in a rapidly evolving marketplace. He will also describe how he uses AccuRev’s software configuration management (SCM) solution to create the organization’s successful software development process of simultaneously developing and maintaining numerous existing product versions to remain competitive.
Mr. Lundström has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, 11 of which were mostly spent practicing object-oriented technology. At Objectory AB, pioneers of OO development processes and the ‘Use-Case’ concept, acquired by Rational Software in 1995, he worked with modeling tools and what is today known as RUP and UML. Prior to using AccuRev, Lundström gained valuable experience deploying and using application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, such as the IBM Rational suites and Clearcase/UCM.
Brad Hart, AccuRev Vice President of Technology, will also highlight AccuRev’s unique ability to easily support complex branching and merging processes that Ascade leverages as an alternative to ALM for massive parallel development and customizations.
