The ethanol fuel industry, known best for its corn ethanol boondoggle economics, now has a technology that can separate the economies of “corn as food” from “corn as fuel”. For Fuel Freedom, Inc., a newly formed alternative energy and renewable fuels provider, can produce more ethanol fuel from corn stover and cellulose than ethanol producers currently get from corn kernel and trash. The company has partnered with Emerald Coast Energy, LLC, a leading provider of Southern Pine tree farms, and US Greenergy, Inc., grantor of the license for strains of algae used in jet fuel, to achieve this goal. “Being conscientious of both the environment and the economy is our key strategy invading the ethanol industry, and permeates all that we are, think, and do.”

FFF celebrates acquiring the license for the technology of a remarkable bio-fuel process that is both oil-independent capable and carbon negative.

A private celebration was held in Los Angeles on December 2 at Encounter Restaurant. The company acquired the technology from Wise Landfill Recycling Mining earlier in the year, but held off its celebration until after several partnership negotiations came to fruition.

For Fuel Freedom’s process is believed to be “the biggie”? the most significant cellulosic ethanol process in bio-fuel history to date, being economically and environmentally sound.

This unique ethanol process produces almost 4.4 times as much alternative fuel as similar cellulosic processes, and 2.3 times more than corn ethanol. [That isn’t a typo.] The Super-cellulosic Ethanol™ system can ferment more sugar into ethanol than what is put into it – more than enough to meet passenger-vehicle fuel demand.

Mr. Rush expounded, “The economic strategy behind this is more than just consumer convenience – it is taking a stand for the hopes and dreams of the middle-class. And quite at the same time, we have the only fuel technology that will enable oil companies to easily and profitably transition to alternatives, unlike the limitations of natural gas.”

As a Contrary Economist, Mr. Rush started developing an economic plan to help the middle-class that involved this ethanol technology back in 2006 that will help to avert oil shortages expected to hit by the Summer of 2009. Links to Stephen L. Rush’s economic solutions can be found on the Bank Bailout Solutions page at ABCsofReform.org/Bailout.html.

The FFF system is comprised of Organic Hydrolysis™ and other proprietary technologies where organisms and algae feed on unfermentable sugars to create additional biomass. Depending on climate, projections are between 265 and 325 gallons per ton of biomass, compared to 75 for similar cellulosic technology and 100 gallons (equivalent) for corn ethanol.

On what this process does for “The American food verses fuel dilemma”, Mr. Rush claimed, “For Fuel Freedom can produce cheap fuel and alternative energy from renewable sources like trash, while promoting job growth simultaneously. This is a total solution.”

Stephen L. Rush, inventor of the process and CEO of For Fuel Freedom, at Earth Day LA last April met with Francis Annenberg, Ph.D., chief scientist for Foundation for Research in Organic and Sustainable Agriculture and New Energy, who showed interest in the technology. Dr. Annenberg at the time indicated its potential, “If successful, could transform much of American economics.”
