An expansive wireless Lon network can be established at a fraction of the cost of network interfaces, cabling, and labor by simply connecting the WLD-900-LR to an existing Lon network. Extend the network to additional buildings and remote sites with the Model WLD900-LR. LonWork communication can be established from 100 ft to 40 miles using a higher gain antenna. The transceiver can be used in Server/Client applications (one-to-one addressing) or one-to-multipoint.

A minimum of two transceivers are required for operation. One serves as the transmitter, the other serves as a receiver. The standard unit includes a rubber-duck style antenna for short range usage up to 1500 ft. line of sight. Additional antennas are available for longer distances in kit form which includes the appropriate antenna, cable, and mounting hardware.

The WLD-900-LR Wireless LonWorks Transceiver is ideal in commercial buildings for security and fire alarms, lighting controls, building automation, and HVAC controls.
