MetricTest is pleased to announce that Advantest has added several new powerful options to the highly renowned U3700 Portable Spectrum Analyzer series. These new options are 2 channel input, time-based analysis, and a 6 GHz tracking generator.
The U3700 Portable Spectrum Analyzer series offers models (U3741, U3751, U3771, U3772) ranging from 3 to 43 GHz and is suitable for use for a variety of applications such as wireless communication device production test, and for field use such as electromagnetic environment testing and installation and maintenance of microwave communication links.
The new 2 channel input option provides the U3741 with two completely independent RF input channels, the first in the world. This feature will allow multiple communication bands and components to be tested simultaneously, increasing throughput and flexibility. The time-based analysis option provides the U3700 series with the capability to measure RF signals in the time domain and capture I/Q data. In addition, FFT analysis capability provides narrow resolution bandwidths down to 1Hz.
