Denver, CO, United States, 2008/10/30 - Ralph Bobian and Rhonda Watkins join the hip, sassy new aloft brand entering the Denver scene this winter. Denver-based Stonebridge Companies has partnered with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide to bring this $25 million hotel to the metro area.

To match the hotel’s bold new image, Stonebridge Companies just hired a pair of innovative managers for the new aloft Denver International Airport set to open mid-November 2008. Ralph Bobian will take the General Manager seat alongside Rhonda Watkins who will direct the Sales and Marketing efforts at the ultra-hip property.
Ralph Bobian, a Colorado native, brings over 21 years of hospitality industry experience with extended stay, select service and full service hotels in the Denver market. Stonebridge Companies recognized his passion and brought him onboard to lead the team at aloft Denver International Airport. When asked about the new aloft brand by Starwood, Bobian expresses, “I believe that aloft will set a new precedence in the industry and establish higher expectations from our travelers.”

Rhonda Watkins comes to aloft Denver International Airport as Director of Sales and Marketing with over 10 years of experience in the hotel business and an extensive Starwood Hotels background. Prior to joining the team, Watkins was the Account Director at Westin Westminster where she managed and maintained high volume relationships with many Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, she opened another Starwood property in Kansas, the Sheraton Overland Park and began her career with Hilton Hotels. Watkins says, “This aloft property will specialize in satisfying the needs of corporate travelers. And weekend travelers with early out-bound DIA flights will enjoy the complimentary park-and-fly and airport shuttle.”
