Spectrum Properties, a North Carolina-based leasing, management and development company, has promoted Brent Reel to chief financial officer, Jessica Furman Brock to vice president of leasing in Raleigh, and has hired Gorden Fleming as a new marketing representative in Charlotte.

In the past two years, Spectrum Properties has added over 1.7 million square feet to its leasing and management portfolio and currently manages over 4.6 million square feet of office, industrial and residential properties.
Charlotte Office
Brent E. Reel, CFO
As chief financial officer, Reel will oversee the design of each new project’s reporting and project development cost processes. In addition, he is responsible for financial reporting, accounting and project financing for owned and managed projects of Spectrum Properties and its affiliates.
Since joining Spectrum Properties in 2001 as a controller, Reel has managed the accounting setup of 5.2 million square feet of commercial office space over the past seven years and has supervised the accounting for the disposition of 3.8 million square feet. Previous to joining Spectrum, Reel worked for ClubCorp of Dallas, as a regional accountant and later worked as a division controller in Charlotte. A certified public accountant, Reel is a graduate of N.C. State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Gorden W. Fleming III, Marketing Representative
Fleming will focus on leasing and marketing Charlotte’s Vanguard Center, BB&T Center, 200 South Tryon and South Tryon Square properties. He holds North Carolina and South Carolina broker’s licenses, is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors and has retail brokerage experience. Fleming earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Mississippi.

Jessica Furman Brock, Vice President of Leasing
As vice president of leasing, Brock oversees the leasing and marketing of over 1.5 million square feet of property across the Research Triangle area. The properties she is currently responsible for include Colonnade II, the Wachovia Capitol Center, Glenwood Plaza and Regency Lakeview.
Since joining Spectrum in 2002, Brock has negotiated more than 500,000 square feet of new leases, expansions and renewals representing more than $75 million in lease value. She holds a North Carolina broker’s license and serves as an officer for the Triangle Area Office Building Association. Jessica graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
