Kanda and Xeltek have signed a distributorship agreement In October, 2008. Kanda will be the new representative of Xeltek’s industry leader universal device programmers in UK.
Kanda is established in 1993, and based in Wales, near Aberystwyth, on the West coast of the UK. Kanda is specialized in electronics training and development tools, embedded modules and PC interfaces such as Bluetooth, USB and Zigbee, and device programming. Kanda has lots of technical expertise in programming industry with their experienced staffs, which is the main selling point with customers. Since Kanda has their design & support team in house, they will be providing immediate technical assistance for their SuperPro ® customers.
Kanda was the first company who developed the low cost training kit for microcontrollers, the STK200 kit for AVR systems, and sold over 50,000 of them. Kanda is also the company who defined the 10-way interface standard for in-system AVR programmers which was adopted and commoditized by the other companies. Kanda mainly markets and sells the products through their website, but they have taken trade adverts in a variety of publications as well as stands at Embedded System Trade Shows.
