Robert J. Zalupski has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president, finance-operations for TriMas Corporation. The announcement was made by A. Mark Zeffiro, chief financial officer of TriMas.
In this role, Zalupski has financial leadership responsibility for the organization and financial results of the business units. He now oversees the controllers and finance infrastructure within each strategic business unit. Zalupski is focused on driving the centralization of all non-core finance activities, as well as partnering with business unit leadership on productivity, business development, capital deployment and business unit financing initiatives. In the new role, Zalupski remains a company officer.
Zalupski has been with TriMas Corporation for six years and most recently was the vice president, finance and treasurer. During this time, he has made significant contributions developing the company’s internal and external reporting processes, establishing treasury, tax and risk management infrastructure and providing overall leadership. Zalupski has over 25 years of financial management experience with Arthur Anderson and TriMas Corporation.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan and is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor.
