Allied Wire and Cable, one of the country’s leading wire and cable distributors, has relocated our Wisconsin office and warehouse from Elkhorn, WI to a larger 20,000 square-foot facility in Pewaukee, WI on Friday, September 26. The new space allows for the addition of new machines and employees while leaving room for future expansion.
“We are proud that we are moving to a larger facility. We will be adding additional equipment and stock to help better service our valued customers. It is very exciting that in less than 2 years, we have outgrown the Elkhorn plant,” said Hans Nelson, Sales Manager for the Wisconsin division.
This new building is our response to our customers’ biggest need: faster lead times. Thanks to unprecedented growth in all locations, Allied Wire and Cable has been able to expand and meet these needs. The company expects shipping to customers in the Midwest and Western states to be even faster and more convenient than before.
Meeting and exceeding customer needs is AWC’s primary focus. To this end, Wisconsin is expanding its value-added capacities, particularly striping and re-spooling, with more space and new or upgraded machinery. Warehouse improvement is just one of the many ways that Allied Wire and Cable is committed to always improving the customer experience.
This facility upgrade takes place on the heels of a move for the Collegeville, PA corporate headquarters last winter. Allied Wire and Cable is thankful to our loyal customers. It is to you that we owe our continued success and growth.
