KSS (“Key Safety Systems”), a leader and innovator in global automotive safety systems and components, announces the opening of its Technical Center in Yokohama, Japan, that will support KSS engineering, laboratory and testing functions in the region. In establishing the technical center, KSS significantly boosts its presence in Japan. The dedicated safety systems’ building replaces the KSS Application and Sales office.
“The investment we have made in our new Yokohama Technical Center represents the continuing commitment to expand our global reach, while being able to better service the requirements of our Japanese customers,” said Jason Luo, KSS President and Chief Executive Officer. “KSS operates as a seamless global supplier - our technical centers in Detroit, Frankfurt, Shanghai and now Yokohama share common processes, software and systems including the latest IT infrastructure for technical collaboration, large file transfer, video conferencing, etc. We also have installed incremental capability in the areas of design, evaluation, prototype build and testing.”
