With financial planners finding more of their time absorbed by administrative requirements, a growing trend of relying on outside management and marketing experts is being recognized as good for the registered reps and good for the brokerage firms
After a comprehensive survey conducted by Mr. Sanders’ company, Creative Business Strategies, it became clear that the advantage of accepting help from outside experts to stabilize and expand financial planning practices was too little recognized as a factor for success.
Surveys showed that most reps express organizational concerns, have marketing issues and appear to have lost some of the clarity needed to keep their practice on track. Given that in many cases support staff is limited, most need to be able to balance operations and marketing or find themselves struggling. “We wanted to showcase the business and marketing advisor of our most successful registered rep to shine a light on how important it is for reps to have excellent control of time management and marketing so that more service can be delivered to their clients, and they can concentrate more on building their clientele,” said conference organizer Amy Windfeldt.

Sanders has been charged with imparting some of the changes that he implemented in Tweed Financial that led to their runaway expansion despite the current economic downturn. Additionally, because the need has been expressed so urgently, he will address the importance of marketing strategy and demonstrate that this piece of the puzzle can also be put in without breaking the bank.
