Prior to joining SemiTrends Ken worked in the Semiconductor space for 24 years while with Maxim Integrated Products. His responsibilities included management of Sales and Worldwide Distribution relationships. During his tenure at Maxim he spent significant time focused on establishing the Maxim Direct Model in both Europe and Asia.
In addition to his accomplishments with Maxim, Ken Bloom is also Founder and President of Velocity Direct!, a Silicon Valley based consulting company focused on semiconductor sales and distribution. Velocity Direct works with leading worldwide semiconductor manufacturers that are looking to improve their performance in the distribution channel, as well as with less mature manufacturers striving to develop partnerships with some of the leading technical distributors around the world. Additionally, Velocity Direct! works with technical specialist distributors to expand their supplier base and diversify their business model.
