Along Came Mary of Los Angeles and Creative Consultants of Austin, both prestigious event planners combined their efforts to pull off the two day event. Planning took over nine months with a budget of over two million dollars perfection was the standard of all items at this celebration. The red velvet roses were the perfect accent to the black and white zebra motif that adorned frames, mirrors, the custom built furniture, cabanas, zebra patterned carpet, and on. The once in a lifetime birthday extravaganza was a dream birthday celebration conferred upon by the event miracle workers- Mary of Along Came Mary and Victoria of Creative Consultants.
Kenny G., worked his magic with various Saxophones to the crowds delight. The melodies were ethereal with ever lasting notes that only Kenny could hold over excessive time periods.
Etta James, 'At Last', never sounded so good. To hear Etta in person one is hit with the fiery passion that maintained her ever lasting position as one of the Greats. Bobbie Topfer’s 60th birthday bash was a no expense spared event held over two days in Beverly Hills and then Santa Monica’s Hangar 8, located at the Santa Monica Airport. Completely transforming the penthouse, and rooftop of the Regent Beverly Wilshire and Hangar 8, with carpets, furniture, chandeliers, mirrors, entertainers including Kenny G., Etta James and Hall and Oats, a human zebra and cheetah, cirque du soleil performers, etc... Three stages were built for the various performers at both the Regent Beverly Wilshire and Hangar 8 in Santa Monica.
