This is the seminar you must attend if you want to be a success in film and video production! Specialized Communications Corp. is hosting Robert Lane’s MacHDWorkshop on September 23&24, 2008 at the Washington Marriott, Washington, DC as the start of a 4-day event for video professionals.
The MacHDWorkshop is unique to film & video seminars since it does not concentrate on just one application or camera workflow. Instead it encompasses all aspects of being a motion-picture professional making the workshop a one-of-a-kind.
At the seminar Robert Lane of Lumenosity, will divulge the secrets of Final Cut Studio applications, relate how to output professional-quality DVDs; show attendees how to get that “film look”; and discuss proper camera setups, how to maximize your Mac, and learn workflows for both tape and tape-less environments.
Attendees don’t have to necessarily be Final Cut users to benefit from the seminar. The clinic delves into camera-work and other related system information that any Macintosh-based editor or producer can use. Workshop titles include:
• Cameras, Composition, Lighting and Other;
• Mac Hardware/Software;
• Hardisk / System Management;
• The Final Cut Pro Environment;
• Preparing for Output;
• The DVD Authoring Process.
At the clinic attendees will have a chance to see the Letus Extreme DOF Adapter, receive a copy of the keynote used for the syllabus and freeware / trail-ware of the software used in the clinic. The event starts on September 23 and 24 with the MacHDWorkshop, the 25th is a Panasonic P2 workshop and the 26th is a Digital Signage Workshop entitled What’s Beyond Digital Signage? At all four days attendees will have access to hands-on demonstrations of Panasonic P2 products and other products offered at the Specialized Communications online store.
