GE Money and SNUGTOP, a leading designer-manufacturer of fiberglass truck caps and tonneau covers, today announced a multi-year agreement to provide consumer financing through the GE Money Automotive card, managed by GE Money’s Sales Finance unit.
The revolving credit program offers truck owners a dedicated line of promotional credit with a no annual fee card. Automotive financing from GE Money gives truck owners the choice of 90-day, 6-month or 12-month deferred interest options on truck caps and covers. The program also includes emergency roadside assistance at no additional charge for 12 months, starting from the day the credit card is opened.
Throughout the year, special promotions such as deferred interest will be offered to new and existing cardholders through participating SNUGTOP dealer locations. Truck owners can also apply for credit by going online via SNUGTOP’s Website.
“Purchasing a SNUGTOP product makes good economical sense, both in protecting a truck’s cargo and improving the vehicle’s performance,” said Hartmut Schroeder, president and CEO for SNUGTOP. “Now, the addition of the GE Money Automotive card makes it even easier and more cost effective for our customers to purchase the cap or cover that best meets their needs.”
In addition to providing covered storage, adding a cap or tonneau cover can improve a truck’s aerodynamics, resulting in greater fuel economy. According an independent study conducted by SNUGTOP, truck owners can yield gas mileage savings of up to 10 percent by covering the truck bed. Making it possible for tuck owners to save hundreds of dollars annually in fuel costs. “The GE Money Automotive card has helped thousands of drivers easily fit their auto purchases into their budgets,” said Steve Roe, general manager, Automotive, GE Money – Sales Finance. “We’re pleased to continue to work with leading partners like SNUGTOP by providing their customers a convenient, cost efficient way to purchase the parts and services they need.”
