Accessible online, non-credit courses can help individuals at any stage of their career. Whether the student is interested in switching career paths, obtaining advanced training and certificates, or a first-time job seeker in need of specialized training, York Technical College and Gatlin provide the necessary resources for workforce, corporate or individual career training, all from the convenience of your own home or office.
Courses in the Continuing Education Industrial area include: Freight Broker/Agent Training, Lean Mastery; Purchasing Management; Six Sigma Green and Black Belt; Technical Writing; HVAC Technician; Modern Automotive Service Technician; Chemical Plant Operations; Paper Mill Operations; Power Plant Operations; and Pulp Mill Operations. In addition, the school’s Health and Human Services department offers courses including: Advanced Hospital Coding and CCS Prep, Personal Fitness Trainer, Advanced Personal Fitness Trainer, ICD-10 Medical Coding, Paralegal and Private Investigation.
Gatlin programs blend various types of instruction in a unique format that provides a logical, comprehensive and effective education. The typical course combines online instructional content, traditional textbook material and instructor-facilitated lessons. Though the courses are self-paced, personal instructors are available to guide every student.
