PathGuide Technologies, a leading provider of warehouse management systems (WMS) for wholesale and industrial distributors, today announced it has been named to the “100 Great Partners” report by Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies magazine.
The report is the result of a six-month poll where readers submitted nearly 1,500 nominations for vendors and service providers whose technology, logistics, transportation or consulting solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.
The report also features 19 success stories, including a feature on PathGuide Technologies and its customer Tile City, one of the largest tile distributors on the West Coast. Tile City manages its warehouse operations with the PathGuide® Latitude WMS. Latitude, a Web-based suite, integrates with Tile City’s ERP system (Activant Prophet 21™) to provide real-time, online information about all inventories, using radio frequency technology and a powerful relational database.
“When we went looking for a solution, we found there were really only two to three products out there that really met our business needs,” said Russ Raburn, operations manager at Tile City. “We turned to other Activant users we had befriended over the years to ask them about solutions that were out there, and the feedback we got indicated that Latitude pretty much surpassed any other product.”
Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies is a monthly magazine featuring in-depth case studies, exclusive interviews and content-rich features that offer a wealth of information on the latest technology, services and processes needed to maximize supply chain efficiency.
