Having recently completed a $65 million renovation of its waterside property, it was only natural for the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina to assume management of the adjacent sports fishing and marina operations. Completing the transformation of the hotel into a coastally-chic beach town destination, the existing sports fishing building has been renovated and now includes a new Einstein’s Bagel Bros. and new General Store.
Managing the sports fishing and marina operation allows the Hyatt to provide its guests packages and activities few other hotels in San Diego can offer. Guests can charter a sports fishing trip, rent kayaks and jet skis, or relax on the patio overlooking the Mission Bay Marina.
Just steps away from the hotel’s new pools and waterslides, as well as the completely renovated Marina Suites, the Einstein Bagels and General Store offers bagels, coffee and other snacks and drinks, allowing hotel guests to also shop and stock up their in-room refrigerators, or get those necessary items for sightseeing trips and beach excursions.
