The company specialises in reproductions of works from French master cabinet makers of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Allot Frères manufactures a range of over 600 designs, featuring a wide range of lacquers, finishes, fabrics and hand-sculpted models in Regency, Louis XV or Empire styles. Every aspect of the furniture can be customised by including woodcarving gilded with 22-carat gold leaf, precious wood inlay, as well as damask or silk brocade upholstery.
Allot Frères Workshops, which was awarded the Prize for Living Heritage Companies by the French Ministry of Economy, Employment and Finance in 2006, is the only cabinet maker in France to perform in-house all of the eight different crafts that make up traditional furniture creation, such as gilding, marquetry and upholstering. The company uses these traditional techniques to ensure that all furniture bearing the Allot name offers exceptional quality.
Allot Frères supplies its furniture all over the world. Its collections are designed to become unique and rare pieces in their own right, and are particularly sought after by lovers of furniture made from precious materials.
