Teddington, Middlesex, United Kingdom, 2008/06/16 - Intellego is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of Zenosis, a publisher of compliance and regulatory affairs e-learning courseware for the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry - Zenosis.com.
The Zenosis acquisition brings with it a substantial library of compliance and regulatory affairs e-learning courseware which is highly complementary to Intellego’s existing library of accredited medical education content solutions as well as its blended learning solutions (offered to the Sales, Marketing, System implementation and HR sectors). This newly combined, strengthened courseware solution further enables Intellego to deliver an extensive quality and value driven proposition to existing and new clients, in addition to extending the global reach of the company.
Andy Green, Group Managing Director of Intellego, commented on the acquisition “We’re delighted to have made this complementary acquisition. It provides us with a world class pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and compliance training package which adds to our existing published offering and will enable us to further expand in the pharmaceutical market and life science sectors. Intellego are focused on becoming a supplier of choice within the life science industry through both innovative product and high quality service offerings. The integration of regulatory affairs and compliance training is one more step on that path.”
Intellego’s existing extensive knowledge of the training needs of life science clients coupled with our already strong understanding of the constraints and pressures experienced by this sector enable us to be able to focus even more on our clients needs and to deliver solutions that truly add value to their business. The acquisition of Zenosis (zenosis.com) actively adds to this proposition.
The acquisition of Zenosis’ library of eLearning pharmaceutical compliance courses will also enable Intellego to further serve existing pharmaceutical clients with additional services and courses; and acquire new customers with more customised, specialist training for the pharmaceutical industry. Zenosis’ training courses cover subject areas that are compulsory for those working in the pharmaceutical industry such as good clinical practice and regulatory affairs.
Intellego clients now include many of the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies, in addition to a range of bio-technology companies, life science organisations and also health care providers operating in global markets. With new clients already expressing an interest in the extensive product and service offering from Intellego we expect to extend this client list substantially over the coming months. Intellego will also pursue a number of strategic partnerships with other organisations who can provide synergistic routes to market for our combined product range and services.
This acquisition supports the strategic development of strong market franchises and builds on Intellego’s strong life-sciences division. Zenosis boasts international pharmaceutical companies including Merck & Co, Allied Research and Bayer; strongly complementing Intellego’s list of major pharmaceutical clients which include, AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Novartis and Eli Lilly.
