The award was presented by the Senior Executive Vice President and COO of KIA Motors Corporation, Mr. Y. H. Kim to the General Manager of Al Majid Motors Co., Mr. Samir Tayeh, at a ceremony held at the Melbourne Park, Australia in conjunction with the Australian Open Tennis for which KIA is the major sponsor since 2002.
On congratulating the winners during the awarding ceremony at the Melbourne park Australia, Mr. Y. H. This award is based on the results of the recently conducted Kia Dealer Proficiency Assessment (KDPA), Kia’s first-ever comprehensive global dealer evaluation tool aimed at standardizing KMC’s management of its worldwide dealer network and strengthening dealer capability.
A total of 70 dealers from 23 countries -- top dealers from each country -- were selected to be the participants of this program. Each dealer’s facilities, sales service and marketing activities, finance & management capabilities, for the year 2005, were evaluated on a total scale of 1000 points to decide the winner.
