Anthony Reece, animation voice artist and voice acting instructor, was featured this past week on the renowned Voice Over Experts Podcast, the top educational podcast for aspiring and professional voice actors around the world.
In his second episode, Anthony Reece discusses the topic "Rate Sheets and Recut Requests". Addressing one of the most frequently debated subjects and popular topics in voice over, Anthony provides a solid guideline for creating a rate sheet and then sticking to it as well as dealing with client recut requests.
Voice actor and podcast listener, JC Haze, commented, "Sometimes we voice talent get so wrapped up in our 'art' that we overlook or neglect the business end causing endless problems. If all VO artists listened to your common-sense approach it would level the playing field for clients as well as talent."
Fellow voice actor, Dan Popp, replied, "My experience confirms yours; almost always, when you behave like a professional, the client will, too."
Anthony Reece will continue to generously share his specialized knowledge with aspiring voice actors and professional voice talents via the Voice Over Experts podcast. These weekly podcasts provide working voice actors with consistent inspiration and tips on how to grow in their craft. Available as MP3s, the lessons are hosted online and can be heard at any time of day at the convenience of the listener.
The Voice Over Experts Podcast can be found and subscribed to for free in the iTunes Podcast Directory and online at the Voices.com podcast portal.
