Members will be able to download the podcast and listen to an up-to-the-minute legislative briefing when and where it is convenient for them.
“SBTV.com and WIPP have been working for years to keep business owners up to date on the important issues that impact their enterprises,” said SBTV.com CEO Susan Wilson Solovic. “The hundreds of thousands of women business owners represented by WIPP understand the impact public policy has on the day to day operation and bottom line of their enterprises. As the premier video news and information site for America’s 25 million small businesses, it is important to bring this vital content to our viewers. The series can be downloaded or accessed on SBTV or the WIPP site. WIPP is an important organizational partner in delivering the level of service entrepreneurs have come to expect from SBTV.com,” added Solovic.
WIPP provides a weekly Instant Impact newsletter to its members to keep them advised of legislation and policy initiatives that impact their companies. “Congress and the Executive Branch take action every day that affect our members and their ability to grow their businesses”, said WIPP President Barbara Kasoff. “We hope the WIPP podcast will provide an easy and accessible mechanism for busy women business owners to stay informed on what is happening in the nation’s Capital.” Along with the weekly podcast, WIPP has an active blog providing unique and personal perspectives on how policy intersects with business health and growth.
The new program, presented by WIPP's Government Affairs team, and recorded by Ann Sullivan, will be posted every Monday afternoon during the weeks Congress is in session. WIPP's coalition partner, STBV.com provides the technology and expertise. You can listen to, or download, the podcast from WIPP's website, or from SBTV's website. WIPP and SBTV, leaders in the small business community, frequently collaborate on presenting innovative and timely small business news and events.
