Muscat, UAE, United Arab Emirates, 2008/06/08 - Ahli Bank-Oman has rolled out its first batch of Automated Teller Machines (ATM) across the Sultanate in seven prominent locations including the Main Branch in Wattaya and at the Bank’s branches in Sur, Sohar, Nizwa, Seeb, Salalah and Ibri.
Rapidly strengthening its position in the Sultanate, a further 13 ATMs are scheduled to be installed by the end of 2008, offering customers the convenience of bank transactions and cash accessibility round the clock.
Commenting on the plans of creating a strong ATM Network across the Sultanate, Mr. AbdulAziz Al Balushi, CEO, Ahli Bank said, “Ahli Bank is in its first year of operation as a full-fledged commercial bank. Ahli Bank plans to launch other remote banking services for customers to carry out banking operations easily and conveniently, and to manage and control their accounts without leaving their house. These include SMS banking, e-banking and Call Centre facilities.
