AskMe Corporation announced today it has been acquired by REALCOM Inc., a leading provider of content and knowledge management services and solutions. Based in Japan, REALCOM is listed and publicly traded on the Tokyo Mothers stock exchange. Under the terms of the agreement AskMe will remain based in Seattle, WA as a subsidiary of REALCOM Inc.
Regarded in the U.S. as a leader in the enterprise knowledge (KM) management category, AskMe’s award-winning technology -- AskMe Enterprise -- has been deployed by a robust list of blue chip companies that include Procter & Gamble, Novartis, Timken, Pratt & Whitney, Gerber, PTC, and others. REALCOM is a proven market leader in Japan, with KM implementations at many leading Japanese companies, including NEC, Sony, Honda, NTT Software, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Tokio Marine & Nichido and others.
