About the Ventura College Foundation
Over its history, the Foundation has raised more than $15 million in private support for Ventura College. Though Ventura College receives state funding, that funding falls short of actually covering the annual costs incurred in providing quality educational opportunities for more than 12,000 students.
Contributions to the Ventura College Foundation help to support student scholarships and grants, innovation grants for staff, special equipment needs, and programs and services that do not receive public funding. One-Hundred percent of funds donated go to students and the educational programs of the college.
Ventura College Foundation's newest program is the Ventura College Promise Grant. This grant pays for the first-year of enrollment fees at Ventura College, and is offered to every recent Ventura County high school graduate.
